- Up to $1,000 per request
- One request per academic year
- Priority for students within final 30 credit hour
Eligibility
- Any Arts and Science student in good academic standing may apply no more than once per academic year (including summers).
- Priority will be given to students who are near to graduation (e.g., within their final thirty credit hours).
How to Apply
- Email A&S Scholarships to indicate your interest.
- Attach a Word document (≤ ½ page, single‑spaced) that clearly includes: the amount requested; the circumstances leading to the need; and information demonstrating that the need is non‑recurring.
- After your application is received:
- You will be notified if your request is being considered for funding,
- You may be required to meet with the Undergraduate Dean to answer follow up questions,
- You may be referred to speak with the Cashiers’ Office, Financial Aid Office, or the Office for Financial Success.
- If the Dean requests a referral, you must complete the referral before funds can be disbursed.Qualifying Expenses & Amounts
Qualifying Expenses & Amounts
- Requests should not exceed $1,000.00.
- The financial situation described in the application must be a one-time request and not an ongoing need.
- Preference will be given for needs that are not the result of late penalties or accumulated interest from missed payments.
- Funds can be used for university related expenses, such as overdue tuition, fees, books, etc.
